Accessibility is treated as an operating requirement, not merely a visual preference.<\/p>\n<h2>Technical target<\/h2>\n<p>RTH uses the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA as its current design and testing target where reasonably applicable. This is a target for continuous improvement and should not be read as a claim that every page, legacy document, or third-party component has been independently certified as conformant.<\/p>\n<h2>Practices included in the website program<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>keyboard-accessible navigation and controls;<\/li>\n<li>visible focus indicators;<\/li>\n<li>semantic headings and landmarks;<\/li>\n<li>text alternatives for meaningful images;<\/li>\n<li>labels, instructions, and error identification for forms;<\/li>\n<li>color-contrast review and information that is not communicated by color alone;<\/li>\n<li>responsive reflow and zoom support;<\/li>\n<li>reduced-motion support;<\/li>\n<li>accessible link and button naming;<\/li>\n<li>review of downloadable documents and alternative formats where feasible;<\/li>\n<li>testing of new templates at desktop, tablet, and mobile breakpoints.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Third-party content<\/h2>\n<p>Some linked services, embedded content, payment interfaces, publisher pages, or third-party tools are controlled by other organizations. RTH seeks accessible alternatives and vendors where practicable but cannot certify the accessibility of every third-party destination.<\/p>\n<h2>Requesting assistance or an alternative format<\/h2>\n<p>If you encounter a barrier, tell us the page or resource, the problem you experienced, and the format or accommodation that would help. You do not need to disclose a diagnosis. RTH will make a good-faith effort to provide access or an alternative format and to use the report to improve the underlying experience.<\/p>\n<h2>Accessibility testing and known limitations<\/h2>\n<p>RTH reviews new and materially changed templates for keyboard operation, focus visibility, semantic structure, contrast, responsive reflow, zoom, link purpose, and form usability. Some legacy PDFs, third-party checkout components, embedded services, or externally hosted documents may not yet meet the same standard. When a barrier is identified, RTH will prioritize remediation based on severity, frequency, and whether an accessible alternative is available.<\/p>\n<h2>Documents, media, and alternative formats<\/h2>\n<p>Where feasible, downloadable materials should use meaningful headings, readable text structure, sufficient contrast, descriptive links, and text alternatives for informative graphics. If a document or media asset is not usable in its current format, visitors may request a reasonably available alternative such as an accessible PDF, text version, large-print version, or other practical format.<\/p>\n<h2>Accessibility in purchasing and programs<\/h2>\n<p>RTH seeks to make purchasing, inquiry, registration, and program information accessible. If a user cannot complete a transaction or form because of an accessibility barrier, RTH will provide a reasonable alternative communication pathway where feasible rather than requiring disclosure of a diagnosis.<\/p>\n<h2>Feedback and remediation pathway<\/h2>\n<p>Accessibility reports should identify the affected page or resource, the barrier encountered, the assistive technology or browser involved if relevant, and the accommodation or format that would help.
