SuperstarIQ MVP-0: What We Proved, What We Did Not, and What Comes Next

Restarting The Heart completed a bounded deterministic MVP-0 engineering validation of the SuperstarIQ Source-Linked Evidence Summary pipeline on September 17, 2026. This research update explains what the milestone established, what remains unproven, and how it changes RTH’s next phase.

On September 17, 2026, Restarting The Heart completed a bounded deterministic MVP-0 engineering validation of the SuperstarIQ Source-Linked Evidence Summary pipeline. The milestone matters because it converts a core part of SuperstarIQ from an architectural intention into a reproducible engineering result under a defined development configuration.

It also clarified something equally important: an MVP is not a license to collapse development evidence, independent qualification, clinical evidence, production authorization, and public release into one claim. RTH’s next phase will be built around keeping those evidence states distinct.

What MVP-0 established

The MVP-0 result showed repeatability for a frozen synthetic fixture under recorded execution anchors. Two controlled executions produced byte-identical Source-Linked Evidence Summary output. The evidence was tied to versioned code, context, host, and validation records rather than treated as an unanchored demonstration.

The validation controls were also designed to fail closed. Negative cases reject malformed lineage, unauthorized routes or egress, missing authorization references, and attempts to promote a development host or development-tier result into a higher qualification state without supporting evidence.

What MVP-0 did not establish

The result is deliberately bounded. It is not clinical validation. It does not satisfy Critical-20 or probabilistic Gate B qualification. It does not authorize production identifiable-health-data processing, cloud-model egress, clinical reliance, diagnosis, treatment, emergency use, or external/public interactive deployment.

That distinction is not a weakness in the result. It is part of the design philosophy RTH is carrying forward: a system should not become more authoritative merely because a development test passed.

What RTH learned

The first major lesson is that the most defensible part of the RTH technology strategy is not simply the use of artificial intelligence. It is the evidence lifecycle around the system: source provenance, version binding, explicit uncertainty, authorization boundaries, independent evaluation, contamination controls, and fail-closed promotion between evidence states.

The second lesson is that reproducibility must be engineered rather than assumed. Freezing the fixture, code, and execution context made it possible to ask a precise question: does this exact deterministic slice reproduce its output under the same controlled conditions? That question is narrower than “does SuperstarIQ work,” but it produces a much stronger answer.

The third lesson is that benchmark independence has to be protected prospectively. Historical cases that informed development are valuable regression material, but they cannot later be relabeled as untouched independent holdout evidence. RTHBench is therefore moving toward a new prospectively designed sealed holdout under independent authorship and custody.

The fourth lesson is organizational. Product development, evidence generation, evaluation, governance, and public claims need explicit separation of duties. RTH will increasingly treat those controls as product infrastructure rather than administrative paperwork.

How this steers RTH going forward

RTH’s immediate priority is not to add unsupported claims to the MVP. It is to advance the evidence ladder. The next phase centers on prospectively justified sealed-holdout construction, independent authorship and custody, preregistered scoring and stop rules, contamination controls, and subsequent qualification review.

This also changes how RTH will communicate about SuperstarIQ. Public materials will distinguish deterministic engineering evidence from independent validation and later real-world user research. The Source-Linked Evidence Summary remains a consumer-directed general-wellness communication artifact under development, not a diagnostic or treatment output.

For the company more broadly, the MVP reinforces a strategic direction: RTH should compete on governed, source-linked, auditable intelligence rather than generic AI capability. The combination of SuperstarIQ, RTHBench, and the surrounding provenance and validation controls is increasingly the core technology thesis.

What comes next

RTHBench is now implementing the control plane for an independently authored and custodied sealed holdout. Only after the applicable independence, statistical-design, custody, screening, preregistration, and execution controls are satisfied should that evidence be considered for a higher qualification decision.

Parallel research will continue on wearable-data quality, evidence provenance, uncertainty handling, interoperability, and the Neurocardiac Model™, while preserving the distinction between hypothesis-generating research and validated product claims.
